Twins... same but different, different but the same.
Amba and Leela are Twins, but they are different twins. They share many similarities but they also have lots of things that make them different. This is what makes them unique individuals.
Is this perfectly OK?
This rhyming picture book, celebrating twin individuality and twin relationships, is the perfect gift for any child (particularly twins), expecting parents and even teachers!
A little more about the book
Often when you come across twins, you can't help but compare them. This is normal human behaviour and actually when you meet twins they can be very fascinating to observe and it's great to pick out their similar and different traits. However, it is important that when stating these comparisons, neither of the twins are impacted by any comments in a negative way. At times, unintentionally, comments like '...she's the naughty one...' or 'This one is good at... but the other one is not.' can have a negative impact on any sibling not just twins.
Different Twins It's Perfectly OK tries to send readers a message that It's perfectly ok for twins or any siblings to have different interests and abilities. They should be seen as individuals who will develop at their own pace and will have abilities that differ from one another. This is perfectly ok!
Let twins and siblings feel it's ok to be different.
`T`h`is is an early reader's book aimed for children aged 2-6, however it can also be an easy read for children of all ages.
